Mahmoud Abbas is a winner no matter what happens

(Last update: August 2, 2018)

Mahmoud Abbas is a leader with a vision. He's a leader who's got a plan for that vision. He's also a winner no matter what happens to that vision.

His vision is to destroy Israel. Then, upon the remnants of that destruction, he wants to erect a new Muslim State called, 'Palestine'.

It'll never happen. But Abbas isn't worried. He'll be a winner no matter what.

Abbas never stops talking about his vision. He wants everyone to hear about it. But he's cautious. He knows he's got a problem. His vision could be a failure. He doesn't have the power to destroy Israel in any face-to-face confrontation anytime soon.

He also knows he's got to protect himself. If he makes the wrong move, building his life on such an anti-Israel vision could get him killed.

This is why he has a plan. He wants to stay alive.

He has reason to stay alive: if he lives, he gets to be a winner no matter what happens to his vision.

His plan is simple: he's going to destroy the Jewish Israel one Jew at a time through one terror attack at a time. Furthermore, he'll do this very carefully. He'll take little risk to himself or his family. He'll incite others to kill for him.

If you watch the website, palwatch, you can see how the Abbas-controlled Palestinian Authority (PA) spends huge amounts of time and money trying to incite young Palestinians to implement his plan. The entire PA social infrastructure is built around just three ideas: this land is ours, kill Jews, destroy Israel.

But for all that money and effort, Abbas's plan isn't working. According to at least one website, Palestinians have killed app 1,300 Jews in Israel since the year 2,000 (here). That's not a lot. At that rate, Palestinians will probably need at least 5,000 years to kill enough Jews to conquer Israel.

Looking at other websites, one can see that the number of Israelis killed in this time period might be higher than 1,300. But not by much. That 5,000-year estimate still stands.

It's not a problem. If Abbas is anything, he's patient. He can  wait.

He loves waiting. The longer he waits, the more money the EU and others give him. The longer those donations keep coming in, the bigger his personal Swiss Bank accounts get.

Mahmoud Abbas is shrewd. He's got a backup vision. Even if his primary vision fails, he'll still be a winner.

His plan for Israel is certainly short-sighted. Despite the fact that the idea is to wipe out Jews one terror attack at a time, it seems that for every Jew who gets killed in this anti-Israel war, more than seven Palestinians get killed [in their attempts to kill Jews] (ibid). That's not good. At this rate, Abbas will wipe out his own people thousands of years before he's gotten close enough to wipe out Israel.

But that, too, is okay because, if anything, Abbas is smart. He knows he'll be long dead before anyone realizes how stupid this plan is.

In the meantime, have you seen what his Swiss bank accounts look like?

Yes, Mahmoud Abbas is smart--very smart. He's got a vision. He's got a plan. He's got hundreds of thousands of followers who love his plan. Best of all, he's got a backup plan--very large Swiss bank accounts.

Should Abbas worry about his plan to kill Jews? Should he worry about failing to destroy Israel? Should he worry his followers could kill him for doing nothing for them?

Abbas doesn't worry. His Swiss bank accounts say he wins no matter what happens--so long as he bails out at exactly the right moment.
