The destruction of Islam and the West?

Last week, I wrote about Palestinian Jew-hate ("What do you think of Israel? Here's what one Palestinian thinks", here--then go to August 26, 2018). At that time, I wrote:

 "Hate is powerful. It spoils peace. It motivates men and women to reject peace, not reach out for peace. It will surely determine Islam's destiny in Israel. 

That destiny won't be a happy one. Because of the nature and consequences of hate, Arab Jew-hate will, ultimately, bring about the destruction of everything Islamic in Israel".

The idea that Islam could self-destruct is not new. It's been proposed before (see video, below).

Before that essay, I wrote about the destruction of Europe. On June 18, 2018, I wrote that Europe commits a (slow) suicide because of how it handles its Muslim population (here). I built my argument upon what others have said on this topic. 

The point of the June essay was that Progressives in Europe proclaim that multiculturalism in Europe is wonderful. It is, they suggest, the tonic Europe needs to thrive. But as they suggest this, others claim that multiculturalism is no tonic. They say it's a poison that can destroy Europe (here). 

Europe and Islam, it seems, could share an ugly destiny-- self-destruction. It's a destiny described in our Jewish Heritage. 

There are those within Judaism who suggest that a war between Europe (that is, the descendants of the Biblical Edom) and Islam (that is, the descendants of the Biblical Yishmael) is discussed in our Jewish Texts--most notably in our Zohar and in the Book of Yechezkeil. Such a conflict is said to be part of what could happen in the days before the Final Jewish Redemption (here).

The unfolding of this war is complex. It appears to begin with an alliance between the descendants of Edom and Yishmael, then a falling out, then a final all-out war against Jerusalem that involves others as well.

No one knows how these alliances and wars will or could unfold. What we do know is that both modern Europe (Edom) and Islam (Yishmael) are at a crossroads. 

Muslim migrants provoke a culture clash within Europe. Some say this clash has begun. Some say it will destroy Europe. 

But Europe isn't alone. The West itself faces the same cultural dangers we see in Europe. That is, Europe is not an isolated instance of dangers from Islam. It's just the first probable battleground in a world-wide clash with Islam.

Of course, Europe and Islam could reach some form of detente. The rest of the West could also reach a similar arrangement with Islam. The feared clash might be avoided--maybe. 

Or, one could destroy the other. Or, they could destroy each other. Or, they could both self-destruct.
