Palestinians are a sad people. They have no effective government. All they've got is a corrupt, totalitarian regime run by a Mahmoud Abbas who, according to rumors, has made himself wealthy (with a net worth of at least $100 million) at the expense of his people (look here, then here).
Palestinians are sad for at least one other reason. Palestinians who step out of line run the risk of being detained by Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces. Such detention is dangerous. It means you could be tortured (here).
Of course, most readers of world news have come to believe that Palestinians don't torture Palestinians. They believe it's Israel that tortures Palestinians.
Many news readers believe this about Israel because of the work of perhaps 15 Human Rights Organizations in Israel who claim to protect Palestinian human rights. They protect Palestinians by 'reporting' Israeli torture (here).
But as you'll see in a moment, these so-called 'rights' organizations don't protect Palestinians at all. They care only about 'discovering' dirt about Israel. Their only goal is to demonize the world 's only Jewish state.
Those who say they advocate for Palestinians seem to look only to show Israel as a brutal oppressor (see the link above). They ignore virtually all brutal oppression against Palestinians committed by Palestinians.
That's how you know they're not the humanitarians they say they are. They don't really care about helping Palestinians.
You may recognize some of those who operate in Israel to dig up dirt against Israel. These names include Amnesty International, the New Israel Fund, B'Tselem, Yesh Din, Adalah and Rabbis for Human Rights. There are others. They all have one thing in common: they claim to 'protect' the rights of Palestinians against inequality and abuse--and don't.
Instead, they use Palestinians for their own political, anti-Israel ends. Quite literally, they turn the other way when Palestinians abuse their own people.
We know this because Palestinians torturing Palestinians is not new. It's been around for some time. It's ongoing.
Palestinians torturing Palestinians has become so commonplace in the PA that the Palestinian street has become accustomed to hearing horror stories about what happens inside the walls of Palestinian prisons (here).
Apparently, when a Palestinian tortures a Palestinian, no human rights have been violated. Why else would the human rights organizations who 'protect' Palestinians refuse to report these horrors?
Here are two stories about so-called Humanitarian organizations which consciously choose to ignore Palestinian torture. Taken together, these stories suggest an ugly truth about 'humanitarians'.
The first story is about about 52 Palestinians who had been tortured by the PA. These Palestinians, mostly journalists, had been detained and tortured by PA security forces dating back several years. Ultimately, they had to flee the Palestinian Authority.

The first story is about about 52 Palestinians who had been tortured by the PA. These Palestinians, mostly journalists, had been detained and tortured by PA security forces dating back several years. Ultimately, they had to flee the Palestinian Authority.
Once these 52 Palestinians left the PA, no one wanted to help them. No one would listen to their tales of torture by their own people. So they turned to their enemy--the Jews. They asked Jews in Israel for help.
The Jews in Israel helped them. The 52 Palestinians were given permission to sue the PA in an Israeli court--for damages.
After 2,000 pages of evidence (here), a Jewish court in Israel ruled in favor of the Palestinians (here). The court also ruled that the PA must compensate the victims (ibid).
In order to qualify for compensation, the victims had to validate the nature of their injuries. In Israel, this isn't so simple. This requirement almost always (for Jews and non-Jews alike) means paying for medical and psychological tests out of the victims' own pockets.
These tests are expensive. The Palestinians couldn't afford them.
What did the Palestinians' Jewish lawyers do? They certainly didn't walk away. They turned instead to those 15 Human Rights groups referred to above, the groups that said they worked to protect Palestinian from a variety of abuses. These Jewish lawyers asked for assistance getting the tests done--so that justice could be done for these Palestinians--so their human rights could be defended properly.
Here, in brief, is what they got:
-The New Israel Fund, B'tselem, Rabbis for Human Rights and the Association for Civil Rights in Israel, among others, completely ignored the lawyers' requests. They weren't interested in helping the 52 Palestinians.
-Yesh Din responded to the requests it received. It expressed 'feelings of anger and pain'. But it explained it couldn't help because it "represent victims of violations only when they are harmed by Israeli authorities or Israeli citizens"[emphasis mine] (ibid).
-Adalah stated that they "only help Palestinians who are suing the State of Israel" [emphasis mine] (ibid).
-Amnesty International replied that their organization "does not have the professional tools to address the needs of these refugees" (ibid).
-Some Organizations even suggested they couldn't help these Palestinian victims of the PA because that could hurt the PA (here).
Altogether, 13 of 15 Human Rights Organizations contacted by the lawyers for these Palestinians had no interest in helping any Palestinian abused by Arabs. Only 2 of the 15 offered assistance.
Two other Human Rights Organizations did help. Both were Jewish organizations who help Jews. Despite this mandate, they--unlike the majority of their anti-Israel counterparts--helped (here).
The second case of these 'Humanitarian' Organizations refusing to help an abused Palestinian came to light just this year, 2018. This time, the torture was worse. The victim was 13-years old.
Speaking of her son--and his torturers--the boy's mother said, "It doesn't matter what the child did, the child is a minor. [They] hit him, kill him, tie his hands behind his back..." (ibid).
The father has said, "I implore the human rights organizations, the Arab states, and all the organizations to stand with us (ibid)".
So far, no one has stood up for the family. No one has stood up for the boy. So far as we know, no one has come forward to help.
The father's pleas appear to have fallen on deaf ears. The reason is simple. The boy's torturers weren't Jews. They weren't Israelis. They were Hamas 'fighters' (ibid).
Human Rights Organizations, supposedly so committed to protecting Palestinian rights against torture, couldn't care less. Helping Palestinians isn't their true mandate. Their only true mandate is finding ways to demonize Israel. Accusing the PA or Hamas of torture doesn't fit that mission.
If, indeed, any of these organizations did help this Palestinian family, they certainly haven't publicized it. They won't. Such a report could hurt the Palestinian Authority's reputation.
These "Human Rights" Organizations are hypocrites. Their only interest in Palestinians is to use them to attack the world's only Jewish state. The Jews in Israel, meanwhile, feel more compassion for their Arab enemy than Humanitarians do.
Who's the humanitarian here? Who's the abuser?
