Israel and the third Jihad

In Israel, Arab attacks against Jews continue (“Knife-wielding terrorist charges at police, is shot”, Arutz Sheva, November 10, 2015).  (“Stabbing attempt at Eliyahu crossing foiled”, Arutz Sheva, November 9, 2015). For the last two months, there’s been no let-up. Since September 2015, Israel has seen at least 800 anti-Jew Arab terror attacks. That adds up to more than 15 attacks per day, without stop.

In one sense, this isn’t ‘news’. It’s the Arab norm.

Arabs have been attacking Jews for more than 180 years. They started to kill Jews long before the modern State of Israel was established. They’re simply continuing what they began in the 1830’s (Louis Finkelstein, The Jews: their history, culture, and religion, Harper, 1960, p. 679).

We ignore this bloody anti-Jewish reality. We choose instead to call the ‘Arab-Israeli’ conflict a dispute over land (ibid) and ‘occupation’.

It isn’t. The hate-Israel industry, led by the ‘Palestinian Cause’, wants you to believe that the only reason ‘Palestinian’ terror exists is because of an Israeli ‘occupation’ that’s stifled ‘Palestine’ since 1967 (“Which Came First - Terrorism or ‘Occupation’?”, Israel ministry of Foreign Affairs, March 2002). But that’s untrue (ibid). 

‘Occupation’ and land have nothing to do with this terror (“Palestinian Cleric: Restore the Caliphate and Murder Jews”, camera. org, November 3, 2015). In fact, Arab terror against Jews in Israel was ablaze long before Israel came along (Ryan Mauro, “Reframing the Arab-Israeli Conflict”, The Clarion Project, November 2, 2015).

Arab rioters killed Jews in Israel in 1834, 1920 and 1921. In 1929, they massacred Jews in Hevron and Sfat.  They killed Jews in 1933, 1936, 1937 and 1938 (some also say 1939). All this killing took place before modern Israel was ‘born’.

This dispute is not about land. If Israel gave up land, there’d still be no peace. Arab terror attacks against Jews wouldn’t stop. Just look at Gaza: Israel withdrew. The terror continues.

What’s been happening in Israel isn’t some kind of political ‘common cold’ (Mauro, ibid). It won’t be cured by Israel evacuating this piece of land or agreeing to that concession (ibid). It’s a cancer—and like all virulent cancers, it won’t be cured by simplistic slogans.

The malignancy terrorizing Israel today is part of the same disease that recently destroyed 2,000-year-old archaeological treasures in Syria (ibid). It’s part of the same madness that’s brought beheadings, rape and the massacre of Muslims and non-Muslims across the Middle East. It’s the same disease that’s detonated suicide bombs in Turkey, Bali and Indonesia (ibid)—and in Lebanon (“At least 27 dead in blast at Hezbollah stronghold”, Arutz Sheva, November 12, 2015).

The bad guys – whom the world refuses to acknowledge as such – are out to impose radical Islam on the world (ibid). These people want to obliterate Israel. But they also want to obliterate America, Christianity and all Muslims who don’t agree with them (ibid).  

In short, what we’re looking at here isn’t an Israel issue. The entire civilized world is at risk. The troubles we see in Israel are only the tip of an iceberg.

That iceberg is Jihad. It’s ISIS-al-Qaeda-Boko Haram-the PKK-Hezbollah and what you see in the Hamas Charter: Islamic conquest.

‘Palestinians’ use this Jihad to kill Jews. Their entire social order is drenched in Jew-hate. Why else would 11- and 13-year old boys want to stab Jews to death in the street, as we’ve seen happen in the last few weeks?

‘Palestinians’ brainwash their own children. They run their children through a well-oiled hate-based system of education, media and religious rhetoric (Mauro, ibid).  Even before they’re teens, many are ready to kill in the name of Ribat (Jihad) (“[Palestinian ruling Party] Fatah praises Ribat in Jerusalem, calls to take action... to protect the Al-Aqsa [Mosque]... no matter how many sacrifices it takes," Palestinian Media Watch, July 26, 2015;  “PA minister of Religious Affairs calls on Muslims to carry out Ribat to free Al-Aqsa Mosque and protect Jerusalem from Judaization,” ibid, July 6, 2015).

Ribat isn’t just an ‘Israel’ phenomenon. It’s part of a new world-wide Third Jihad (Mauro, ibid).

The First Jihad lasted from 622–750 AD (ibid). At that time, the armies of Mohammad conquered all of Arabia and most of the Middle East, North Africa and Spain.

The Second Jihad started in 1071 (ibid). At that time, Islamic armies conquered Constantinople. That conquest brought Islam into Europe, India and the rest of Africa (ibid).

In the modern world (whenever that began), countries and cultures outside the West that ignored the Islamic threat--or reacted too slowly to it--were too often swallowed up by the relentless radical Islamic appetite (ibid). They became Muslim.

45 years ago, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was founded with 25 Muslim states. Today it numbers 57 Muslim states. It wants ‘Palestine’ to be Muslim state number 58.

The number of Islamic states grows. The Third Jihad is upon us (ibid).

This Jihad is why the Arab-Israeli conflict exists. Read the Hamas Charter. Read the PLO Charter. Listen to ‘Palestinian’ clerics give sermons. Listen to Abbas speeches.

This conflict isn’t about settlements or ‘occupation’. It’s about religion.

It’s the world’s Third Jihad. Its design is true to form: to spread Islam through conquest. For Israel, it’s the ultimate conflict: resist or die.
