Tzipi Livni,
Israel’s Minister of Justice, is also Israel’s chief negotiator in current
Arab-Israel peace talks. She is a long-term advocate for ‘peace’. She believes
in a ‘two-state’ solution. She says that if Israel does not sign immediately for
‘two states for two people’ there will be ‘devastating consequences’ for Israel
(“Livni: Delaying 'Two-State Solution' is an Historical Mistake”, Arutz
Sheva, June 4, 2013).
She says time
is running out. She says we are running out of possibilities (ibid). She says that Israel MKs who are not prepared
to concede land are “hypocrites – and, if they get their way, will ultimately
destroy Israel as a Jewish state” (“Livni: If We Don’t Decide, the World will
Decide For Us”, Arutz Sheva, February 6, 2014). She says that surrendering
land is the only choice we have (“Livni: 2-state solution is only way to
safeguard Zionism”, Jerusalem Post, June 6, 2013). She says the only way
we can maintain our Zionist identity is to surrender land--now.
She has a
lot to say. But she’s wrong. If we surrender land now we will lose our
identity, not maintain it. We will not see a stronger Israel. We will see the
Islamification of Israel.
She’s also
wrong to believe that this Arab-Israel Israel conflict is about land. It isn’t.
It’s not even about peace.
This
conflict is about G-d.
More
precisely, this conflict is about whose G-d gets to rule in the Israel—the god
of Islam or the G-d of Israel.
Ask the
Arab. He’ll tell you.
If you don’t
want to ask, watch PMW.org. You’ll see how often the Arab declares that this
land belongs to the Islamic god.
If you don’t
want to watch PMW.org, read Israeli news. The Arab can’t stop proclaiming his
desire for the religious conquest of Israel. For example, Mahmoud Abbas has
declared—more than once—that the Western Wall is not Jewish—it’s Islamic (“Palestinian
Authority Denies Jewish Right to Western Wall”, Arutz Sheva, August 12,
2013). He claims that the Temple Mount and the Wall are not Jewish. They're Islamic.
The Supreme
Muslim cleric for ‘Palestine’, Sheikh Mohammed Hussein, claims that Jerusalem
has no ties to Jews—it’s Islamic (“Mufti: Jerusalem is 'Islamic'”, Arutz
Sheva, November 12, 2013). The Temple Mount should not, Muslims declare, be
for Jews (“Islamic Movement Leader: Temple Mount for Muslims Only”, Arutz
Sheva, December 8, 2013). It’s Islamic.
Everywhere
in Israel, the Muslim declaration is clear: this is not your land. This land is
not Jewish. It belongs to Islam.
This
conflict is not about two states. It’s about the Islamification of Israel.
Livni is
wrong. The Arab is right. This conflict is about G-d. That’s what he fights
for. It’s what we need to fight for.
Only one of
us will win.
You need to
understand something. It’s time to stand up. It’s time to act. It’s time to
‘vote’.
If you want
a Jewish Israel, you can no longer remain silent. You cannot support a two state
solution.
Do either of
those things and you vote for Islamification.
You keep
your Jewish State by voting for Israel. How you express that vote is up to you.
You can go to lectures and stand up to defend Israel. You can write Reader
Comments to anti-Israel essays. You can talk to friends and relatives about the
need to stand up for Israel. If you feel you are not articulate enough to do these
things, you can work to sponsor pro-Israel activities in your community. You
can work at your shul to sponsor pro-Israel speeches. You can write checks to support
those who fight for Israel on your behalf.
But the one
thing you cannot do is remain aloof. As Israel faces increasing pressure ‘to
surrender land or else’, we all lose the luxury of silence.
Silence is not
an option. It’s a vote for the enemy of Israel.
Through
action or silence, you cast a vote. That vote will give this Holy Land to the
god of Islam--or give this Holy Land to the G-d of Israel.
You cannot be
politically correct here. You must choose.
Abstention
is a vote for the god of Islam. Refusing to vote is a vote for the god of
Islam. Uncertainty about how to vote is a vote for the god of Islam. Forgetting
to vote is a vote for the god of Islam.
Get the
picture?
Whether you
take an action or do nothing, you vote. That vote will be either for or against
the G-d of Israel.
In the Book
of D’varim, G-d tells us more than 25 times to ‘possess the land’. Tzipi Livni
wants to give that land away.
Do you
follow your G-d--or Livni? Do you vote to possess the land—or give it away?
Is Livni wrong—or
is she right?
